Thanks Nicolas, so glad you like them
You have no Idea how many times people have asked me that. I'd love to do it, textures and a great render is really what can make a model stand out, my problem just is, that I got way to many ideas I wan't to build in digital clay. Even when I just keep these quite simple, I only have the time to do few of them.
So basically it boils down to, a choice I've made, that I'd much rather get a bunch of Ideas out, compared to a few with textures and renders.
I hope to do some fully rendered and textured in the future though, I still got 3 years left before I get my bachelor in cg-art, and I expect to learn a lot about texturing and rendering in those 3 years.

No doubt I prefer the freedom of maquettes, but I'd love to do some "final" models as well

Btw, awesome inspiration blog! Its bookmarked

And I even got a new sculpt going, went back to zbrush for this one

Hope you guys like him

Edit:
Thought I'd upload my sketch as well:

hehe awesome man, nice to see a human among all those critters
And about the texturing/renders , it makes total sense, i didn't know you still had 3 years of computer graphics study ahead of you. you'll def have plainty of time to do it haha

Keep rocking man

The CG version of your last dude is even better than the sketch Congratz for the dinosaurs, they are great and very inspiring

And yeah I'm still a young brat, got a ton to learn

@Emanuel
Thanks man, as always, I'm super glad you like it!

@nielot007
Thank you! Glad you like him

@Kel Solaar
Thanks Thomas! And glad to hear the model turned out well, I never really stick to closely to my concepts I just try to get the right feeling in the sculpt

And tonights sculpt, had quite some trouble "finding" him in the polygons, but I'm quite pleased with how he turned out.
