Plan 1 was to hope no one would notice
as I was going have him floating around in space so his feet would be pretty much just standard
Plan 2 added some rotation below the knee so combined with the hips I can manage some turn out and turn in for the feet. Separated the knee, shin and foot, tested rotation of the foot its OK now for the limited range I need, there's a ball built into the ankle which is not visible under the grey boot but its there. Not a fan of the grey bit but seemed to be the only way I could think to keep the two bits integrated and stay with the design.
the colours are just a placeholder until I think of something better
edit. Just noticed the ankle joints too high now will have to do something about that. Weekends coming up.
