nice start for mr.Durant!!
but i agree with all the critics about the child look: infact he looks too muscled now, if we compare with the sketch.. of course depend what kind of look you want to give ..

in the meantime, i choose this..

tnx Mag, it's also my favorite
infact i want do a sort of mix between this 2 characters, with this head i've pasted in this image.
My idea is, do the character without an helmet that cover all the face, maybe an simple helmet and special glasses, cigar or pipe..

Nice start Frankino. Id say his nose is a tad long.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
This is tough following a concept and im epically failing the "stylized" look.
Tried to correct some of the mistakes pointed out.
Go mad with the crits please, dont be shy
Oh and if anyone knows of a good place of reference for this stuff. Much obliged

nice progress Dick

a couple of things come to mind now - I'd make the shoulders slightly wider [not too much], the neck slightly thinner and the head a little bit bigger [usually around that age they're about 5.5 - 6 heads high].

The eyes might also do with being a bit bigger. Hope it'll help
Keep it going

nice progress Dick
as for your model, i like the overall proportion, but as i mentioned before clement's drawings are based on his lines and silhouettes in my opinion ,so maybe you could washed all your details even in this stage and create your character based on his shapes,in other word maybe you could forget the realism and make more stylized look,i will start my entry tomorrow hopefully so we can discuss more about the shapes and forms, keep updating man
