Good question, I have added this guideline to the announcement post:

Please post all wips in this thread, and add a subject title to your final entry post (something like "Final entry - username").
Also please include the artwork you've used in your final post if you decided to follow a specific one.

Cheers!

One question about this quick challenge: the model will be only modeled or need also to be textured?

good luck!!

What a talented guy. A big shame.
Never seen his work before this, hopefully more will after this challenge.

Ive chosen the little boy.
any tips on how to make this kid look less like a bloke with a big head would be great

Great start man
If you don't mind I got a few crits, first to fix the body, just turn down the muscles, he is way to muscular compared to the drawing. Also bring the shoulders closer together, that boy got some seriously wide shoulders.
I don't know how close you are planning on staying on concept, but he looks quite Asian in that drawing.

Keep it going!

hey dick!

good choice. surely one of my favorites too.
seems like you are off to a good start too.
as for crits, i'd say his pecs are too pronounced. think his shoulders are a bit to wide aswell. you could also try to slim down his arms a bit.

looking forward to your next move.

Nice start dick
you choose a cool concept from his works,i think the very important item in his works is the quality of lines through his Drawings, also the big sillouetes make hise works so unique and very siutible for 3d works,i would do this concept of him with maybe some changes,my intention is tio make a cool 3d sculpt ready for the print.
