Wow Sam, amazing work once again. Whats your method for painting bump maps btw? do you use your color map? or paint it separately?
awesome results. I really want to give Vray another shot.

Hey Chris, use both, start with the diffuse, put that as very low constast on a map, and start to paint in Ps... with the help of mudbox. Yea Vray is great renderer, have fun hehe

How do you use mudbox for texturing?

to know where i need to paint the bump, like in the wrinkles, and accentuate decrease somes small detail of the sculpt. But i use i to match some uv edge, and for placing when i do texture projection. But Mudbox is not that fast, some tool Lag a lot... that suck. Mari should fix that problem i guess

Looks great,

Just a few minor things that might or might not matter.

First, as you age you start to have more mutations, thicker individual stands of hair starts to get mixed in with finer hair on your eye brows and other places. These stray hairs will start to grow in the ears and nostrils.
Then a little less and uneven spec on the lips and face, so as to have dry areas (less oily) on his skin.
Maybe add a little more depth to his skin pores and wrinkles within your cavity map.

Btw, is this Vray for Maya and if so how is the real-time viewer like?

C-R: Well, I'm glad you like it man, and the b-challenge to. for the detail most of it come from the bump, and a part in the displace to.

Just a shot of the new eye, need more tweaks... smooth the juice eye mesh ... well still in wip. i'll fix the eyelid to match with the eye position to
