Default Dr Grordbort's/ Banana

Hi

This is my first creature ever created in Maya so any feedback along the way would be great as I am hoping to improve my skills.

The creature that I have come up with is a cross between a horse, tiger and dragonfly which means it might be quite challenging for me to make as a first model but I'm going to try it anyway!

Hey Hannah,

Welcome here!

Are you planning to refine the concept a bit? It looks very simple, by simple I mean it's as you described it, a collage of different animals, what about trying to blend everything together a bit more and introduce some Dr Grordbort's species parts?

Thanks for your feedback Kel Solaar,

I see what you mean by simple when you see some of the other creatures being created here! I'll look at some of Dr Grordbort's creatures and do some more sketches to try and come up with something a little more refined.

Had lots of university work to do lately so haven't been able to do much. I've done some more sketches. Finding it really hard to come up with something.
I have 2 more versions of my dragonfly/tiger/horse idea. Wasn't really too happy with them so I tried to come up with something a little different. Its similar to a mole, so its blind or has very poor eyesight, and has feelers around its mouth to hunt for food.

Any thoughts?
