hello and good tidings!, im new to this forum and am excited to be here . i have decided to enter this competition, with no experience with 3d modeling programs . iv downloaded sculptris and am keen to give it a shot.

-for my design iv decided upon incorporating the basic anotomy of a mole rat one of which is able to burrow with just 2 legs, and a worm like body to match!

-the so called Venusian flute tunneler uses small tentacle like structures to collect pollen and small sized food from plants and dead matter. it does not have teeth.

-this venusian flute tunneler, as in the name, has a flute like structure on the rear of its tail which it uses to contact and comunicate with other tunnelers. this flute is powered by the rare air sac of the creature. the flute itself can bend over whilst the creature is tunneling, and is a prized trophy from hunters keen on joining a peruvian flute band

- the creature is covered in calyst like pads which are tough enough to aid in protecting the creature from falling rocks etc in tunnels.

bear in mind its in the early stages, i think it needs a bit of detail added. and its my first ever use of the program

Interesting design, remind me of a seal / walrus in the overall shape, what kind of skin treatment are you planning on that?

hey m8, skin treatment, hmm, i was thinking along the lines of a tough, leathery skin fitting to an underground dwelling animal. not sure how to incorporate that into the modeling program, but ill try also i will try to include pads of toughened skin which act as external armor for the tunneler
