Anyone tried contributing items for TF? I entered the polycount contest but my entry was pretty bad. I just reworked the minigun replacement I did for that.

I'm not savvy enough with Hammer to contribute anything. The most I can do is change my characters' skins.

Every few days, we take a break at work and play TF2 on our intranet. We mostly play custom maps we downloaded, and especially enjoy plain-jane Deathmatch on two maps called Sons-of-Boxes (http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/121712) and Hub (http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/84453), or various Payload maps. I don't think we ever play control point anymore unless it's one of the new maps like Viaduct or Harvest. And we haven't play CTF in ages.

You don't need hammer to make weapons/hats. You can even just submit OBJs and TGAs but its advisable to get your head around getting stuff in game/model viewer as it changes the appearance quite a bit. Sorry for derail.
