Happy New Year to everyone!
These are my short sketches for practice organic wrinkles using hippopotamus's eye area.
Although these were just small test for me, I could learn a lot of things from this works :)
By the way...
If you will try to sculpt some tiny wrinkle(details) on skin, how do you create the tiny details?
Only hand-writing? or using any stamp/stencil maps? I'm just curious, pls never mind, haha..

cheers,

thats awesome!
as for your question, some guy onzbrush central who is pretty good posted his process in zbrush (he did some avatar concepts for the film, his name is patton.) his process was this: use the elastic brush in zbrush on speckle mode with low intensity and just spray it all over then massage. i did some tests and this feels pretty damn good for time/difficulty. hope that helps.

do you know of any good eye tuts? i love the wet feeling yours has

Hiya gkaine,
Thank you so much for your info. I could find out and watch the post at the forum. Yeah, I'll try to the same step in my work in no time.
Thank you for sharing about that :)
I also checked some articles on "character modeling 3". I could learn many important points from the book!
Also, I would guess "hippo" is really a good reference to learn some organic skin details like rhino and elephant. There are many different details/shapes/wrinkles on the skin.
(It's just my opinion..)
