Seems like a good idea to start a thread for doodles that will never become completed but maybe free up my imagination.
Here is a sketch for something I try to get away from my usual pedestrian work, it has 4 eyes and more teeth
ballpoint pen and paper

Some practice with Artrage. Im just starting to like it a bit more and finding new tools. No references used here as Im trying to improve visualisation of what I imagine.

nice one! I like your perspective work, although her arms look a bit big compared to the head.
Keep it up! Nice to see some 2d artworks here!

The green bit is a scanned pencil sketch I did last week and the black bits are start of an ink over in PSP but I got a bit sick of it as there are some perspective problems with my sketch, :banghead: but you get the idea

Cheers Collings, I modelled it also but ran out of ideas at the time on how to add the twiggy bits to the hands and feet as in the drawing. Any suggestions?

Initial concept of a more edgy pixie for TBTAM, rejected because no neck would make it hard to animate and the helmet would interfere with the ears, but I liked him anyway. Consigned to Pixie dust :D

I made this up so I could trace up rough sketches better, from some wood a couple of 12V caravan lights an old clip from a clipboard and some opal perspex. it works better than it looks as the camera flash bounced a lot off the paper. The lights a bit uneven but it works fine. I painted the inside white to even it out a bit. I made it portable with a separate battery so I could work anywhere, I might add a little transformer inside so I can also plug it into mains when I want. Its quite light and takes an A2 paper. The clip is a beauty and holds the papers really securely. The natural wood feels good to hold and I like it (lots):)
You probably have a real one at work

Just partially sculpted but now I have discovered to use constraints in ncloth a little better, I will try spinning her around a bit to see if I can get some nice flow.

A singer I intend to animate sometime, she is fully rigged but not textured.
