Hi all,
I also joined this great forum from today, nice to meet you all :)
I'm kenichi nishida, from Japan. I work for Game company as a digital modeler.
And I've been using Mudbox from 1.0beta.
I'd just like to say hello to every talented artist on here this time and I would post my recent wip stuff. I hope you like it :)

This creature was made by only Mudbox (include render) as short time sketch.

cheers,

-k

Beautiful model, did you use any reference? How did you get the sss effect in the ear usig mudbox only? Would be nice to see some wireframes.

Great stuff, can't wait to see more of your works.

Cheers

Hi Pascal,
Thank you for your kind words :)
Yes, I used some references from my scrapbook.
And sorry, I made a mistake in my first post, I retouched the image using Photshop after sculpting and painting.
About the base mesh, I worked this stuff from default human head of mudbox.

Hi collings,
Thank you so much :)
I also love your work.

Thank you,

Nice attention to detail both in the subtleties of the wrinkling as well as the musculature of the face. beautiful.

Really nice work man! Love the standing pose of the mouth and the muscules arround it.
Maybe you can improve the eyes\eyes' expression. To much human at this time, maybe?

Nicelly done!

Hi Miguel,
Thanks for your comment and advise.
Yeah, I agree. And I know his wrinkles around his chin are a little bit stiff... I had to check any references during working. I'll pay attention from next stuff!
Thanks anyway :)

Hey Kenichi! :)

No, no... :P The chin, mouse area I love it! :D Just refereed the eyes (maybe more wide\cat look, not to much human...? - like the ears!). But is just an aesthetics opinion, to run out a little bit from a normal Troll design.
Saw your portfolio, and love also the scorpion, the shading is awesome! :)

Keep it coming! :D
best,
-Miguel

Thanks Miguel,
Yes, agree. I also think "he" is too human like except ear, nose...
Anyway, I could learn a lot of things from many artists and you, so I'll try them and pay attention from next own works :)

I also love your works. and I watched your work on "character modeling 3". Congrats Miguel! nice work!

cheers,

Yeah! Exactly! True! With cat's eyes look, will lose the human base of a Troll.

Yeah, exactly! Let's share! CGfeedback looks like the exact spot to share a lot of stuff and to learn with a lot of great artists.

Oh, thanks man! CM3 is great, a lot to learn with that book! So many great artists and tips in there!

keep in touch,
-Miguel
