Hello everyone, my first post here is one of the first character I've worked on, it will be used for our future video game "Fray".

I had to create many different parties to achieve results and want to get the maximum detail for the future Low poly model, and of course try to follow up the concept art of Vincent (http://www.vincentmorin.com/vincentmorin/Home.html).

I hope you enjoy it, all feedback and comments are welcome.

Love that concept art! Beautiful design.

The 3D execution looks great and the detail is well-balanced. I think some of the proportions are a little off from the concept though. The forearms on the model seem skinny compared to the concept, as do the ankles. Some of the details in the head seem "puffy" like they need sharper edges.

That's pretty rad though! Kind of like Iron Man meets Spawn... bad-***...

Just noticed something else: the concept has more vertebrae in the cervical area. The model has only 3-4, which may not be enough for good animation. Not sure how you're rigging this. I guess if it's all enveloped it doesn't really matter. But in a human those cervical vertebrae get smaller and more compact towards the brain stem.

Non mais sans blague... c'est vraiment beau et j'ai hate de voir la suite!

El Burritoh thank you. for all the animation is actually wrapped, more importantly, to respect my tris constraints for the model low poly so it should not pose too much trouble for the spine, but you right, but I'll probably rework some parts and maps for the game.

The head is actually less angular than the concept, if time permits I go back it.

Ton Iron Man me bottle le ***, vraiment beau boulot :)

(I can not turn on the thumbnail to the thread!?)

Great work ! Love the concept and nice model too:thumbsup: I agree with Tim's comments, I would also say that some of the head's pieces look a bit flat like the ear thing. It might not work well for the game version, but I would have separated the different pieces to get some over hanging plates.
Cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
PS: Pour ton thumbnail, attache juste une image a ton premier post avec l'attachment manager.

Cheers

Hey Max

Nice model, Love the idea very cool.

The only thing i would say is that some of the areas that seem to be metal / carbon fibre look a bit soft, It think it would make the suit feel alot stronger if you tripled up some of the edges around these areas, And on the back too.

@ Pascal: thank you (thumbnail corrigé ;) ), actually it appears as flat, I'll probably rework it has continued all these returns, the head image is a second version, I worked with my model parts separately at first and projection in zbrush I create a single mesh with a new mesh to make my normal map projection of the low poly model so that it would be too heavy for my machine. So I figure it will be easier to restore forms harder or less flat.

@ John: Thanks you for advice and design! I'll try to really follow all the criticism and rework the more metal side, it's always difficult to keep many hard edges with ZBrush I found even by adding loops on large areas, yet must I improve my technique with hard surface.

Thank you again for all your returns are very constructive.:notWorthy:
