Hi guys, this looks like an awesome forum to contribute and get some worthwhile feedback to push on! Hope so.

I started this a while back after watching Hills Have Eyes, though I put it on the backburner.. time to finish it however I feel it could use strengthening in allot of areas. Perhaps an overkill on folds? Improved Gesture? Anatomy?

Hope to get some comments.. cheers guys.

Hi Paul, welcome to cgfeedback :welcome:
That's a cool model, I like the face, it's quite creepy.
My main question is , did you use references to do the body and clothing?
It is really hard (if not impossible) to model realistic clothing folds without references imo.
Here are my comments:
-The neck tendons seem a bit pinched, too sharp and thin where they meet with the clavicles.
-The shirt shoulder folds looks a bit regular - too parallel to the t-shirt border line
-The overalls wrinkles look indeed very busy, again I would follow exactly a real life one.
I am not saying this is the perfect reference, but it feels a lot simpler here:

-biceps outer lines could be smoother
-fingers feel very thin

Hope this makes sense, this is a pretty good start though, can't wait to see your next update.

Cheers!

agreed with pascal, i would follow a ref for the clothing folds.
I also think the overall hand is too small and the fingers too short. Keep it up :)

Hey guys, thanks for the pointers. I've tried to address them all to somewhat of a degree at least for now.

I actually was using reference (myself in baggy jeans) but I totally got lost in the sculpting and clearly overdone it. I hope they look better now? I'll be spending some time on the fingers next, just wanted to update...

Cheers

Hey Paul, yeah that looks much better, the bottom part of the pants still seem quite busy, any photo you could post for reference?

Cheers

Hey Paul, nice update. So this is a sculpt of you in your baggy jeans... oh wait... I just re-read your post hehe :p

The folds are definitely looking better. Don't forget to give those hands some love too
