Pin-up Chris

Hi Guys !

First i say hi to all guys i know on this forum and that i had the plaisir to work with (it's a long time DUDE toooooo).

So i submit my job now.. i hope that this is not too late ... i send it very late cause i'm stoping too work on it now even if i don't finish it (i haven't the time to finish texturing some elements ... the dog and the bra on the foreground of the picture for examples ..) anyway i try with this ... hope that you will enjoy it like this ...

So for the story of this picture: i start with an art of gil elvgren as ref (see attach ref) and i try to turn the action as something more funny like some absurd scene that we can see on pin-up artworks. So don't ask me how this ****ing dog succeed to catch the bra of this poor girl :D i don't know myself ;). She's Surprised and try to hide her breast as she can in the action ... but she had the reflex to try catching the dog with her lasso ...
I tried to keep in mind the old style pin-up art as i can ... hope so

i work with max for the base meshes and mudbox for high def meshes. texturing with mudbox and photoshop. the picture is a screenshot of the real time view of mudbox (unfortunatly lake of time to do a classic render). i just make a little post prod in photoshop to have something more good looking.

i will try to post anothers views later and finish it when i will have the time but this picture is my submission for now ..

Nice work, even though her facial expression is a bit scary the idea is very cool and funny. That dog running away with the bra is just awesome ;)

You're right for the facial expression: i tried to mix something like surprise and a reflex of angry and my result is too much scary a bit confused i think. when i will find the time to finish it, i'll try to find something more adapted for this action.
