Hello hello,

first post in this lovely little forum! (thanks Pascal)

Being too busy I only started with this a few days ago, more for a little practice than properly entering here. But then it turned out not too bad so I thought I might as well post it! I got the base-mesh from Jonas - maybe that disqualifies me anyway :D - but in my defense it used to be Arnie so there were a few changes necessary on my part ;).

Anyhow. I started out in Zbrush, then brought it into 3dsmax to do a rough pose. After that I went to mudbox to refine it (the new pose tools are awesome but then doing a full pose I want to have more than one joint).
Then I did the final sculpting and texturing in mudbox. The UVs were not tweaked at all and the whole thing doesn't hold up for a closeup but it was fine for the time and the image I want to make.

I usually hate texturing and this must have been the first time I actually really enjoyed it. Being so lowres anyway I painted everything by hand and it was fun! Wow. So just for that it was all worth the effort :D

So today I'll do as much tweaking as I can to complete the image.. still needs some hair, oh dear. Anyhow. fun fun!

Here's the current render (some cc in ps).
Edit... This is the final entry:

Hey Seb, it's great to have you here! She has a great face, lots of character. Come on you can finish your picture, still few hours to go clap
Ahah I love the screenshot with Arnold's face on the female body, I edited your post to get your images to show up btw.

This is looking very promising man, I want more:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

Hey Pascal!

Thanks for the encouraging words! Yeah it was funny with the head.. I left it untouched until I couldn't bear it any longer :P

I saw your beethoven, just now. Sweet, a nice character to make.

Thank you sir, still plenty of work to put in him, I feel like I am doing circles with his head's modelling :)
Looking forward to seeing more on your pin up, her face really has something special, I love it!
Oh btw is this a vRay render?

Pencils down I guess!! 2am and my head hurts, tomorrow first day at work. yuk!

I managed to do some more tweaking on the model and also added hair (what a pain) and I hope you like it! I'd love to spend more time on it - to work better as an image at least one accessory bit would have been nice but there's simply no time for that today.. maybe next week! :).

I attached some more final shots from the model in mudbox for the interested.

As you can see I really only detailed/textured the things that are in the shot because time was pressing...

Thanks Pascal for the Challenge, let's have another one soon! :)

Goodnight! :beerchug:

I really like your entry Seb, off course it would be nice to refine a few things like hair, but the quality you've produced in such a short period is stunning.
We will deinitely do another challenge soon, this one was just too much fun not to do it again ;)
Cheers!

Brilliant... I love the character she has in her face - it rides that wonderful line between realism & interpretation.

Just lovely!

Thanks a lot Ken and Mr. Jefferies. Glad you like her! :)

Pascal: Fun bit about the hair. As I wanted to try hair-farm for ages I used that but it doesn't let you save the scene .. so I was rather worried most of the time and finished with less tweaks than I would have liked. :P
