We're trying to figure out who made this cinematic. We think Blur did, but we're not sure.

I had not seen the Knights Contract one, but I had seen the Hope of Alderaan video. Impressive work!

Stunning work. The quality just gets better and better, Blur have really nailed realistic CG faces. Great to watch. :bouncy:

totally agree with you guys it would be difficult to not be actually ^^ , the trailers made by Blur and Digic are amazing :)

it's indeed a great job to do characters all day long ^^, i wish i could have worked on that CG trailer though, usually they just check our in-game models to be sure to have something close to it and then they basically rebuilt from scratch the cinematic models to match their pipeline ( cloth simulation etc).

DIGIC and Blur are lucky to get big budget and time to do this kind of cinematics.

I think digic used arnold to render the new assasin creed cinematic and not mental ray this time. Arnold is coming to be a big alternative to mental ray Vray and other raytracer in the next months.

this is not sony, arnold is used by few company but it's still the property of it's own creator marcos fajardo, and they are develloping a bridge for softimage and maya to be available to public in the next months.

Their second cinematic didn't take them too long compared to their first one since it went longer.
I had chance to have interview with one of guys there.

Their definitely stepping up their efforts to reach a much higher insane quality.

Was it ever confirmed if the monkey island video was made by Blur?

Feels like blur. I love blur don't get me wrong but I usually can figure out if it was done by blur because their animations are usually a little floaty.. maybe from the mo-cap?
