That's the big point ! What we call the "the mapple top" a carved piece of wood with a very (very) complex shape, i had to redo the mesh more than 10 times , i've tried with nurbs ( of course, the best way for these sort of objects ) but ... ...too much for me (patch-welding....) i'm not strong enough with nurbs so i've made it with polys , slowly , but the shape is not perfect at all . So an advice : if you have to do this sort of shapes , do it with NURBS:banghead: !
