Sculptris..Amazing new Sculpting App

Hi

There is a new sculpting app developed by Tomas Pettersson with the name of Sculptris, it adds geometry with every stroke, it feels like real clay. In my opinion the BEST app ever for pure digital sculpting, its amazing!!.

I like the way it pulls out new geometry, I could use that, looks amazing. Will try it when I get a moment

It´s a pretty good tool, but it needs a better sculpting brush engine.
It might be good to block out some ideas quickly,though.

Hmmm tried it out while it is amazing this guy build this its still got a long way to go imho, I didnt like going from sculpting to painting as a 1 way trip, and it didnt handle a mesh with 2 UV tiles well at all.

Just figured out, that I didn´t have the latest release installed. The new one is much better. The sculpting tools don´t feel as nice as in zbrush or mudbox, but a lot better than the voxel sculpting in 3dcoat imo.

I need a break from my Ron Mueck model, so I will play a little bit with this new toy today :)

wow! just tried this! super amazing! sculpts fantastic...much better than 3d coat.

Been using this for a few weeks now and think its really cool. Makes things like rapid sketching super easy. Takes no time at all to things like heads and rocks that used to take a while to lay out. Highly recommend this for any pipeline.
