That looks pretty slick! It's always great to see some hard-surface work! We need more of that.

Is it all polygons or did you put some nurbs in there too?

Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming!

Everything consists of smoothing based polygons. The wireframe shots show the smoothing preview of maya.
I think I,l try some other rims. And some materials need some polisch too.

Hey Alexej

Nice model. clap Nice and clean geo. Cant say I see much to comment on at all.

If i had to say anything the exhaust pipes seems a bit thick, makes them feel cg. Might be cos they are too square or could be just the material.

The other thing is that I think you are losing some of your nice detail in the render. The break dics should be quite bright, as they are drilled they must not be carbon fiber so they should have a brighter shader.

Keep up the good work.

Dear folks,

This little render of my Car I did with KeyShot. This render engine is just amazing. The setup was done in seconds, and the final render time beats all records.

Well, the renderer is not the best but it's great for some quick presentations, I think.

Great model, the wires look very clean. You've given me the urge to work on some hard surface now :D

Great car model! no crits there

I beg to differ about Keyshot. (http://www.keyshot.com/) Its definitely fast and easy, I think if you use a different material on the body paint you can get a better result. Also try a higher quality HDRI environment than the ones that come default with it.
In my opinion, Keyshot is the closest thing to a "make good" button for product shots.

Very clean model. Agree about the keyshot shader though.

Thanks guys.

Here another render. I just noticed, that the real time render method (check box in the render options) makes better results. The other method isn't similar to the render preview.
