Using sIBL with 3ds Max 2011?

Sorry to trouble you.

I'm trying to learn how to use the sIBL gui interface.

I'm using the sIBL gui and trying to get it to load the template into 3ds max 2011.

I press the load into software button but I get an error... I think it can't find my 3ds max path. Actually, I'm getting an OLE error but I can't be more specific because I'm not directly in front of my machine at the moment.

Do I have to set the path to max somewhere? How do I tell it how to find max? Suppose I've got more than 1 version of 3ds max installed on my machine?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Joe,

I wish I could help but I don't have Max2011, Kel is the guy you want. I believe he frequents these forums, I will drop him a line tomorrow if I bump into him online some where.

I remember getting it to play nice in the early stages with Max2010 was tricky.

Hi Lee,

I got hold of Kel directly a few weeks back and he helped me find the issue. Turned out that one of the scripts I was using had a bad line of code, which he sorted out. Everything works a treat now!
