Time?

Hi folks,

I want to do a surfer girl from the swamps of Florida making her way down a stream that opens up to the ocean. I'm thinking she's hiking down the stream and as the viewer we see her making her way towards the beach.

She looks over her shoulder back at us and we snap the picture of our pin up. I have done quite a bit of research so now I need to combine it and decide on a format to work in. 1 Reference image included.

Looks like it is going to have to be 2D because there is no time to do 3D even though it's my preferred medium. I have made a sketch to start laying out the VERY basic elements. Hope I make something considered finished by the new deadline. Thanks for the extension.

Ok I have lots of stages leading up to this but I created almost all of them today frantically trying to get something close to finished before the deadline. I hope it at least gets looked at by one person. So far I'm the only one who had commented on my image. At least some c&c would make it worth the effort. I see lots of things that could be improved upon so I'm sure some one else does too.

Hey , nice effort indeed! I would make the body contours sharper and lighten up the shaded skin zones.
Keep it up, you still have few hours ;)

I wonder if I have until USA Easter standard time 12:AM or are the time stamps showing up next to these images the cut off. I Got home a couple of hours ago to but it's hard to make all the changes you recommended ( whole heartedly agree with) here at the house with my trackball. Office has the cool toys.:thumbsup:

Still trying to add to this image and complete it the way I would like it to be. I know the challenge is over but there are things I still want to do and so I'm just adding here for now.
