Cool stuff Marcus :bouncy:
Any wireframes of those? The centaur's front legs just feel a bit straight and somehow disconnected from the rest of the body, and the hooves seem less accurate than the rest but overall your model has a nice organic feel.

Is the cyborg suit made of rubber? It feels like it could bend right now.
Your Krobli model looks great!
Very cool to see your works here, keep them coming! :)

Cheers

Thanks for the comments and feedback Pascal. I'll try and tweak the Centaur features a bit more when I get around to the texture pass.

The Cyborg suit is indeed made up of a rubber like material as well as hard fiberglass and painted steel. It's the material direction that was given to me by the client, so I'm glad that it's reading that way.

I'm glad you dig it!;)

Update: 12/01/09 Anyways I have a new model in the works. The character is for a 3d challenge that I entered and the theme of the challenge is “Beauty”. The great thing about the theme is that it’s open ended and can represent a number of subject matters, which is why I choose to go with a mermaid. I wanted my rendition of a mermaid to represent something more alien and less human, a sentient being that inhabits an underwater world on an alien planet.

Nice sculpt on Luna. Maybe the fins and membranes could be thinner?
Cool stuff anyways

Hi Marcus,

that is some really well done sculpting man.
I especially like the forms and the detail of the weapon and the second arm of the Krobli
and its a very nice lighting and mood in the Krobli picture

Truly inspiring work the whole way down this thread. The Krobli character is magnificent. And the Luna sculpt/environment render is beautiful.
Did you fully rig Luna or is she transposed?

Really cool design, as I said earlier.
Maybe you can improve the skin shader, maybe can me a little bit more translucent ... (?)

Love the geometric composition! :beerchug:
