Hi! I'm new to this forum, I'd like to share with you guys my demo reel to get some critiques and feedback.
I've been working on this for the last 6 months of the 3D animation and VFX program at VFS, and it's basically my first experience with 3D/comp.
You can find it frontpage here: www.diegopiccinato.com (http://www.diegopiccinato.com)
Thanks in advance! :D

I love the bike sequence, well doneclap As for a demo reel opinion, I just found the rolling credits a bit too long and actually confusing for an individual reel (looks more like a short movie credit list) but this might be some of the vfs requirements?
One crit regarding the bike animation, it finishes a bit too fast with a very sharp curve but that's very minor.
Nice work !

Glad you liked it and thanks a lot for the feedback! I had some critiques regarding my animation, some people said it moves too slow after the engine starts. I could solve that by making the movement at the end slower and have it more consistent through the shot, thanks for the tip.
Regarding the credits, yes, it's basically all the instructors. We don't have to put them but everybody do. Since I had space near my image projection I thought I could use that for it.
Again, thanks! :)

Nice now we are both plugged!! I am the guy on the bike by the way! Awsome work my friend, awsome work! But I still think my cg double is a bit off at the back. seems a bit squished, but thats nitpicking.

Nice Reel and Nice Model. clap
I would have to agree with Pascal the credits did seems a bit weird for a personal reel.

Thanks for the plug and the comments! :D
Maybe I should put a title before the list like "instructors" if that would help clarify it better.

Yeah something like that or "I would like to Thank" as it looks too similar to a standard movie credit list.

Hey sidepartner! You know I am really digging it! It is amazing for a first timer.
Though, if I would change anything it would be the reflections on the bike, its a bit too shiny and ''new'' looking. Dont hit me tomorrow when you see me..
Anyway, great job mate!
