Hey guys, I have some free time this week so I thought it would be good to at least get ahead start now then later. Anyway I decided to use this painting by the very talented Linda Bergkvist. I will not limit myself to it I merely like the pose, color and overall feel. the face and the cloths are going to be different although I might just make the hat since I like it A Lot. I've started modeling the head already based on different reference images. I will post it up when I'm done tweaking it.
Workflow:
I am going to spend quite some time on the head since it will be the highlight of the whole image, I will then move onto the body and attach them once I'm done with them both. I will then UV them and begin working on the cloths.
I hope you like the idea and good luck to all clap

I love Lindaīs paintings. Itīs a little bit similar to what i have in mind for my entry, I also want to do a smoking woman with a similar color scheme. The reference source is different, though.
Nice choice, I will watch this entry :)

the project is still ver much on sorry for the lack of updates I was swamped with school work and didnt have much time to work on this. The cloths are done and uv mapped, doing texture and shader work right now. The body is done in terms of texture just cleaning up the seams, I thought of trying out vray ss2 but after playing around with it the results i got totally sucked so im going to go back to mental ray. still have a lot of things to do and I'm kind of hoping for a lil extention if possible but hopefully ill be done on time. :bouncy:
