Hi all, nice to meet you,

I am new in this forum and i would like to show you my last personal work.

It is not for a commercial use, I've just made that "to test" some sculpting techniques...

Hoping you like it!

:welcome:Mauro!
Very nice shapes, I love the face. Can you explain more about your sculpting technique?
The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the skull inside the belly , but that's just a design personal taste thing.

Nice work:beerchug:

Hey, looking great, totally agree with pascal, the face looks sweet, I don't know about the scull in the chest, think is a cool idea, but it might need a bit more work, especially around the hips, the transition right now, don't look very natural.
But keep it up mate, great work!

PascalR: Hi Pascal, nice to meet you and thank you for welcome message!
I really appreciated that you liked its shapes.
About the model: as first, I tried to recreate a ID Software-style-model, (ex. Doom3). In this particular case, I've designed an hybrid between a crocodile(skull), goat(skull), dog or wolf(skull), human (torso and hips) and gorilla (long arms and small body). I love ID modeling style, because I can feel there an impressive research into their character and monster creation process, speaking about the design.
Most of the time, they, the ID artists, try to keep the "main body shapes" ,and using the edges of them to re-create a perfect fusion between organic modeling and mechanical parts.
I love that analysis and the Scott's models too (are impressive).

For this model I used mainly: pinch brush to create the hard edges (and add more density of polys on some part), a bit of "inflate" and a lot of smooth. The basic mesh was done in XSI (just a set of quad polygons to start the sculpting in ZBush).
Thank you.

Storm: Hi Storm! Nice to see you here. Yes, you are right... I have to fix a lot of parts. I'll try to complete that as soon as i can.I am really glad that you appreciated my dirty ugly beast (Daigan), thank you and thank you for your suggestion about the model! Your works are very inspiring.
