hi !!

lots of good stuff here, i hope to learn a lot from all of you !!!

well it's my first challenge and the idea is a pin-up with a guitar like those old advertisings of fender back in the 50's...

i was going to start modeling the guitar but i'm not sure that we can use props so i'm waiting for some feedback :p and here is the start of the girl

Props are definitely allowed, whatever helps with your composition is fine!

yes !!!!! it's quite a good thing that we have some time cuz i'm going to model a very detailed stratocaster !!
it will be a cool exercice to switch between organic mod and hardsurfacing :drool:

Actually it's only polys but I don't think the pickguard will render correctly so i'm planning to model it in Rhino

Hello friends :) Sorry i couldn't post before :banghead: Here is an update of the face, I spent all my saturday working on her eyes, I hope you like it. I did a retopology on the base mesh that's why there is no details on the ear yet. I think the overall shape is quite finished now, let's the fun begins with texturing, rigging and posing !!

Good to see you started on the face! A few things here, the cranium looks really big and forehead seems quite flat, the eyes region is too smooth (I would add some lower eyelid folds, even if it is very subtle) and ears like you said need more love.
She has potential to look cute though, keep it up!:thumbsup:

You're right Pascal ;), the cranium was huge, I tried to fix it; for the small eyelid folds I'll add them when I go deeper into sculpting using alphas. I was wondering that perhaps it would be more useful to wait until the model is posed to sclupt it according to the shape muscles take when they move...what do you think ??
