I am working on as a senior lighter...

Hope awesome is OK then. :sw::p The lighting of the valley where the owl flys up at the start is very nice, I dont know if you can give away any info on how it was lit or not but its beautiful.

Looks great, some impressive shots in this trailer (like under the rain :love:) Though some env looked a bit flat and cg like the tree branch and rocks (2 consecutive shots at 0:59).
My 2 boys can't wait to watch it :bouncy:

I saw this the other day, very nice visuals although the owls look a bit odd. The combination of realism with human facial expressions doesn't quite work for me.

Saw it yesterday, and it was a visual blast. Story is simple and for children, the good thing is that it let you focus on the animation, lighting etc.

I still don't understand how they managed to do their feathers, it's simply the best birds I saw in CG :)

Congratulations to the folks at Animal Logic :)

Yup look-dev did an incredible work on the feathers !!!

But we had pretty long render-time, hopefully Renderman handle this kind of shit pretty well :)

I haven't seen this yet but it looks beautiful. vfx it would be amazing to see break down shots but I bet your not allowed?

Dude, dunno what you exactly mean by breakdown shots. I got the shots I've been working on but just the final result, nothing like making of :(

Yeah this is what I meant. A Making of, just more info into the kind of work you did on the project.
