View Full Version : Ghost wireframe on back of polys

So I have a new computer at work and am using the latest Maya 2012. Over time my scene switches to looking like this. It feels like I have back face culling on or something. When I save and close Maya, re-open it looks fine. Has anyone else had this issue. It feels like a graphics card issue? Or maybe I'm hitting a key I shouldn't be. Haha

I had some similar issues ( although no the same ) with Maya 2011 on Linux where the shading would disappear from some mesh faces, no matter what you did, it was gone. the only solution I found to work was to create a new mesh and connect the outMesh attribute of the broken object into the inMesh of the new mesh.

Now that one is weird. If this does happen again to me tomorrow. I'll go into diagnosis mode and see if I can really figure it out.
