I have been 3d printing a number of my models with Kraftwurx.com. They have the widest selection of materials and best prices I've found.
Here are a few images of the recent full-color 3D prints I've had done.

That's neat! I didn't had a 3d print in my hands recently, are the resins used nowadays actually solid? It could do a cool present for a kid ( 8 - 12 years old ).
Thanks for sharing!

The full color material you see in these photos is more like sandstone than resin. All 3d prints can either be hallow or solid depending on how much material you'd like to use or how strong you'd like the part to be.
For example this model was solid. But if I wanted it larger for the same cost. I could hallow out the model. It would not be as strong as a solid piece, but still last a long time. The parts will make good toys and gifts now. Since the materials are very strong now. I recommend checking out Kraftwurx.com. There you can see more samples of different 3d prints.
