Hi !!

As a lighter, it always been a pain to find materials to light on the web.

My idea here is to offer my time to light and render your models.
As PascalR mentioned me while a private message, perhaps many of you won't feel comfortable by sharing their work.
It's up to you, the idea is to share knowledge and give opportunities to everyones to increase the look of their portfolio.

Let's take a practical exemple, if one of you have a nice model and I light it:
- if I decide to put it on my reel, I'll ask your permission and mentionned your name as the modeler on my piece of art :drool:
-my lighting is yours, you got my scene, my renders, you're free to add it to your reel as soon as you mention my name as a lighter on it...

With time, I hope this idea will grow up and interest animators to give life to you beautiful creature, etc...

I think this is a great idea. I mean, it could be the difference of a good piece of art to a GREAT piece of art.

I might take you up on that. Let me finish sculpting Tyson and we'll talk more. BTW you have a website that I might be able to see?

This is a great idea, and I hope many people will share their files with you.
If this idea is well received we will open a forum where people can post their files.
Something I forgot to ask you, what is your pipeline? If someone has a shaded model with textures, what format could be sent over to you?

I am so glad many of you like this idea !!

I'll prepare a portfolio to show you my work.
Unfortunately the best I have is done nowadays on the new Animal Logic feature but of course can't show it !!! ( Trailer shall be soon available by the way ! )

Anyway, about the rendering. I think if there is no displacement and no crazy filemap size, my preference could go to MentalRay.
But most of the time, you guys are crazy with Zbrush and co, so, in that case, I'll render it with Renderman Studio or 3DElight !
So, just give me whatever you want ( ma, obj, tiff, jpg, etc..), I'll figure it out !!

So, I am in touch with Silva Spoon to work on the shading lighting rendering of his master piece of work !!! youhou !!!

I am not sending this new message for having more work but to push this idea to share skills and take advantage of each ones and to all have a better reel, shots to show, etc...

I believe in this idea and I ll try to support the most I can if I have some good feedback over this forum.

If you have any ideas about promoting it because you are interested in, pls let me know !!!
