nice work. I think the back of the ears for this creature needs love. The skull is almost merged into the back of the ears. Also the creature has no cheek bone. It could be that the ear is too close to the eye as well. I like what you did on the top of his head, The mouth also looks cool.

The bug looks great and creepy, Maybe try add some finer detail to the shells and things.
