Hi Guys,
Cool forum! I thought I would contribute. This is a model I started a couple weeks ago. You might recognize him from the movie, City of Lost Children, I hope.
Cheers,
Robert

nice model Robert! If I had to change something I would probably get some lower lip definition, it got lost a little bit imho.

That's great! It is always fun to meet celebrities.
Here is the the latest model/render. I have a few tweaks I want to make. Then I will be sending it off for 3D print!

Cool stuff Robert! Just a small thing, the ear lobe looks quite concave to me, is it intentional ? Which company will you use for the print?
Nice

Hey pascal,
Yeah hes got some pretty freaky ears. They are quite low too, for your average human. This zbrush shader also makes things seem a little deeper than they really are.
I was going to give the www.ownage.com a try. I will let you all know how that goes. I am not sure if they can handle all the wires and things on his headpiece.

Here are the pics from the 3d print. Sadly the helmet part broke on the way over, so I will have to wait a bit to get that replaced. Regardless, the print is way cool :).

Yah I went with Ownage. They do a great job. A lot of that stuff had to be custom made because it is so small which added to the cost. I paid 400 total for the print and shipping. I couldn't recommend them more. They really deliver quality.

Really fantastic model and gorgeous print! When you say that pieces were custom made and added to the cost, are you referring to the little wire bits?
