Hi, here is my spiderweb curve in maya with 2 hair system but when i convert to hair system, i can't get a good collision curve.

I try to cut each curves, and i'v got this result but, my spider web have no weight and donīt fall.

Just a simple question why not using a cloth solver instead of Hair system?

Well... I will try to see if it's better.
Thank's for the answer.

A solution to your spider's web would be to constrain every CV that shares the same position in one cluster.
J'y jette un coup d'oeil ce soir.

Edit here is two file one wiyh the spiider web and cluster the other with hair system added . Not perfect but j'espere que ca aidera :)

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
The two hairSystem do not collide among themselves.
Each curve of the second hairSys is built on each curve of the first hairSys and forced through "pointCurveConstraint" on the dynamic curves of the first hairSys.
I'm planning to share the script that creates them.
Lately I have made changes and I'm still testing it.

let me know if you're still interested... I could send to you a sample file via e-mail.
Best regards.

Hi there,

Here the file example.

You can translate, rotate, scale and stretch the webLoft as you wish and the web curves will react to deformations of the webLoft.

I hope you like it.
Cheers.
