Hey Everybody,
I'm currently modeling Cedar Shake shingles for the roof of a house and I am having difficulty figuring out how to layer them properly. I'm trying to make it so that they are layered looking but still can be placed flat. I'm sure the solution is relatively simple and I'm just having a late night mental block on how to get it done.
And if any of you guys or gals have any other roof modeling techniques I'd be thrilled to hear about them.
Thanks,
Nick.
Also I know the simplest of solutions is to use a texture, but i would like to see them modeled rather than textured.
