Hi there! As this is my first post here, I think a small introduction is in order.

My name is Henning, and I'm eighteen years old. I'm from the cold and rainy Norway, and I'm currently working as a 3d artist as a trainee.

This is my first "large" personal project. I've been working on it for quite some time now, but there is still a long way to go.

There are a number of things which needs improvement, and also things which needs to be added. I need to fix the texture stretching on the wall, texture the ivys, make the ivys more random and fix intersections, find a proper camera angle, arrange the objects on the table to look nice and so on.

I'm also planning on adding small creatures in the background, performing various operations. Here are some of the characters which I've already made

I know it's not the greatest piece of art, but I'm trying to improve.

I would really appreciate feedback :)

Edit: btw, is there a way to change the thread image? I dont want one of the creatures to be there.

:welcome:Henning!

I like your environment mood, and the pink character is my fav. Lovely colors in there. The modeling could be refined, especially on the pig and hands even if it is a cartoonish style.
Keep it up! :bouncy:

Also, the first image attached to the post will be used as a thread thumbnail.

Cheers

Pascal

Hi Pascal! Thanks a lot. The only creature which I consider finished is the pink fellow, the others are WIP. I think however that the modelling is good enough, though its not as refined as it should be, because they're going to be far back in the scene. I want to attach wings to the pig and have him chase a pie or some sort of bakery which is having by a balloon.

The pink guy (called Erling) will be doing something suspicious like stealing a book or drinking a bottle of mystic grog. There is just no way that I will keep the scene all serious and pretty :p oh, there is a light saber hidden as well.

Malanjo: Thanks a lot :) I originally wanted the green fella to be in the scene, but I seems to have lost the original file.

Pascal: Thanks! Appreciated.

collings: Thanks! Love your work by the way

I've been working on the scene now for some days, and added the characters, and I think Im getting close to something here. This is after some post work in Fusion.

Very nice renderclap Only thing here is you are losing your characters. Is it something you intended to do?

Great stuff

Thanks! Well, the scene is not supposed to be about the characters. They are just there to make it a bit humorous, as for the ligthsaber, which is in front of the helmet, btw.

I'm currently adding a third character as well. http://guilemo.deviantart.com/art/Jack-143681228. This guy.
Also, I'm considering placing some fellow in a bottle, like he's been a part of some science experiment.

I will however try to experiment with the characters, and see if they can be better used it placed differently. I am of course very much open to any suggestions :)
